Join us on March 7, 2027 for the 2027 Tokyo Marathon! One of the world’s most popular races and Asia’s biggest marathon, this flat and fast course has played host to several records and is attended by as many as a million spectators. The course is said to symbolize the past, present and the future of Tokyo, traversing the city’s major districts including Kanda, where you can take in traditional architecture, the halfway point at Ryogoku, and the finish at Tokyo Station.

We are looking for one more team member who will register to run 26.2 miles and raise a minimum of $7,500 for raptor conservation. We’ll supply you with a race t-shirt and other runner’s swag and provide all the positive energy you need to inspire your friends and family to support your fundraising goals.

All runners are responsible for their own transportation, lodging and other costs associated with participating in the marathon.

Headquartered in Boise, Idaho with programs on five continents, The Peregrine Fund is the world leader in conserving birds of prey. As a catalyst for change, we inspire people to value raptors and take action while investing in tomorrow's conservation leaders. Support for our work comes from individual donors like you, corporations, foundations, and government grants. Please consider donating today. #RunForRaptors

“I’ve been perpetually on the cusp of running a marathon for 15 years, but it wasn't until recently that I finally found the motivation I needed: birds. Recently, I hit the pavement to raise money for the 73 most endangered birds in the UK, and now, I am beyond thrilled to be running for The Peregrine Fund. Representing them on the world stage is a massive honour.”

“I’m lucky enough to have a Bald Eagle that nests near my home, and I make it a point to say hi to it during my runs. It’s a little ritual that reminds me of the beauty of nature and the importance of protecting it. I raised $3,500 for TPF while running the 2025 TCS NYC Marathon, and I’m thrilled to be back and supporting TPF again.”
