I’ve been perpetually on the cusp of running a marathon for the last 15 years. My running shoes have seen a lot of good intentions, but it wasn't until recently that I finally found the motivation I needed: birds.

Recently, I hit the pavement to raise money for the 73 most endangered birds in the UK. I realized I had found my niche and decided to keep the avian theme flying high. That’s what led me to combine a long-time goal with this newfound interest and take on the ultimate challenge: the Tokyo Marathon.

I am beyond thrilled to be running for TPF (The Peregrine Fund). They are an absolutely amazing charity doing vital, on-the-ground work to conserve birds of prey across the globe. Representing them on the world stage in Tokyo is a massive honour.

There's another very important reason I chose TPF: the Peregrine Falcon just so happens to be my 7-year-old’s absolute favourite bird. I am incredibly stoked to score some major points by dedicating 26.2 miles to his favourite fast-flyer!

Help me help the falcons! Every donation goes directly to TPF's incredible conservation efforts. Whether you're donating to support the birds of prey, to see an unserious runner tackle a World Major, or just to help a parent look cool to their 7-year-old—I appreciate every single penny!
