NYC Marathon 26 Will Seaton
The TCS New York City Marathon is the happiest day of the year and a perfect opportunity to support the city I love, to raise awareness for conservation efforts I care about, and to participate in the incredible community around the event.
I am a tech entrepreneur and executive based in Brooklyn and a long-time supporter of conservation and climate initiatives. My very first act of charity was a lemonade stand to raise money for endangered wildlife animals and Iām proud to continue that passion with The Peregrine Fund in 2026.
I grew up watching Red-tailed Hawks soar above my childhood home. In New York, I have watched as Peregrine Falcons hunted from my building's roof trying to catch pigeons in the East Village, and as hawks rode the winds above the East River to hunt along the Williamsburg shore. These birds remind us how to live alongside wild nature and to keep our eyes and minds on the skies, inspiring us with their presence. New York City has the greatest number of nesting Peregrine Falcons in the world, so protecting these falcons is a uniquely New York issue.
