As a longtime lover of wildlife and avid runner, I'm proud to support the Peregrine Fund in their mission to protect birds of prey and the places they call home. I'm looking to raise more than $3,500 for this important cause! "One of the first books I loved as a kid was called “1000 Facts on Animals”. I remember reading about the peregrine falcon— turns out, when you learn about the fastest animal on the planet, it sticks. I’m from lower New York, and I spent my childhood running through the woods of the Hudson Valley or driving upstate to scramble up rocky Catskill trails. There was alway something special about watching a bald eagle soar overhead, or hearing that telltale red-tail screech. Now I live and work in the city after graduating from college in Wisconsin, but still get out as often as possible to head into the forests north of NYC. The woods, the trails that run through them, and the animals that live in them are a big part of who I am today. I couldn’t be more proud to support the Peregrine Fund in their mission to protect birds of prey and the places they call home.”
