The Peregrine Fund’s World Center for Birds of Prey Collaborating with The Cabin to Dedicate a Day to Reading, Writing, and Raptors!

Where would the conservation movement be today without famous literary works by authors such as Rachel Carson, Aldo Leopold, Edward Abbey, or Richard Louv? The Peregrine Fund’s World Center for Birds of Prey in collaboration with the Cabin Writing Center would like to invite you to join us as we celebrate the power of the written word and the role of writing in conservation of wildlife and habitats on Saturday, June 27th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The day’s events will include a book sale, readings and book signings by local authors, and special bird presentations to compliment the readings. In addition to professional authors, aspiring writers from the Cabin Writing Center’s camp will be reading their favorite works from their week studying raptors and writing.
