I'm honored to be running the TCS New York City Marathon this year for The Peregrine Fund. My passion for raptor conservation began as a teen, where I worked and volunteered with a wildlife education and rehabilitation center on Long Island. I went on to spend time in college at the Braddock Bay Bird Observatory banding songbirds at dawn and Northern Saw-whet Owls by night.
While my love of birds came easy (ask anyone I know), the running part definitely took some time! I started running in 2025, and as a graduating law student, I am now balancing the final stretch of my studies with my marathon goal. I look forward to training this year and knowing that my efforts are making a positive impact on birds of prey through The Peregrine Fund.
Avian conservation has been an important part of my life and I can't imagine a better organization to fundraise with for the TCS NYC Marathon. I am grateful for any support, whether monetary or emotional, that you can contribute as I tackle my hometown race. Thank you to The Peregrine Fund for this opportunity and thank you for your support!
