Monica Pittman

Curator of Birds

Monica Pittman serves as the Peregrine Fund's Assistant Raptor Specialist. Her involvement with The Peregrine Fund began in 2009 as a volunteer at the Velma Morrison Interpretive Center. Since then Monica has twice attended hacksites in both New Mexico and Texas as part of the Aplomado Falcon rescue project. As part of the Flight Demonstration team she has trained and presented Wally the Eurasian Eagle-owl and Griffin the Swainson’s Hawk.

Monica is majoring in Zoology at BSU and is a licensed falconer of five years and is presently sponsoring an apprentice falconer.
