Free Admission to Open House and Fall Bazaar on 7 October

The Peregrine Fund's World Center for Birds of Prey will celebrate its annual Open House and Fall Bazaar with free admission to the Velma Morrison Interpretive Center on Sunday, 7 October. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Visitors can enjoy free guided tours, live bird demonstrations and hands-on activities for kids throughout the day. The center has interactive displays, multimedia shows and exhibits that provide insight into the world of raptors, such as eagles, hawks and owls. Visitors can view rare species, including the California condor, one of North America's largest and most endangered birds.

The event kicks off the 11th Annual Fall Bazaar, which runs through 21 October. Donated items for sale include signed jerseys from Boise State football players and artwork from The Images of Nature Gallery in Sun Valley. There also will be a silent auction. Proceeds benefit The Peregrine Fund's education program.

The last day to bid on the queen-size quilt made and donated by volunteer Ruth Kassens will be 7 October.
