Raptor community assessment in the Cerrado and Pantanal biomes of Mato Grosso do Sul state, central Brazil

Assess ecological parameters of diurnal raptors between the wet and dry seasons in the Cerrado and Pantanal biomes and incorporate new Ecological Niche Modelling research techniques to understand the effects of seasonality and the consequences of recent habitat changes on the raptor community. In addition,we aim to investigate possible migratory patterns and behavior, and assess the impact of roads on scavenging raptors and their “prey” species in the study area.
