Susan Whaley

Public Relations Coordinator

Susan is a former journalist who for 25 years worked at Idaho newspapers, including the Idaho Statesman, Twin Falls Times News and Wood River Journal. After retiring from journalism, she worked on a political campaign and as a freelance writer before joining The Peregrine Fund staff in 2007.

Born in Boise and raised in Pocatello, Susan graduated from the University of Idaho with an English degree. Her husband, Bert Bowler, is a biologist working on recovery of endangered salmon and steelhead.
