Nick Piccono first moved to the Boise area to attend The College of Idaho, and began his involvement with The Peregrine Fund in 2004 after graduating with a B.S. in Biology. A life-long lover of the outdoors, Nick’s position as the Interpretive Center Operations Manager at the Velma Morrison Interpretive Center relies on his passion for conservation. In addition to daily Interpretive Center operations which include everything from leading tours to feeding and working with education birds, Nick is also heavily involved with volunteer efforts including training. Nick is actively involved in developing interpretive programs, updating and developing displays for the facility, and fundraising. Nick is also responsible for managing the Center’s gift shop. When not at work Nick loves to spend time with his wife, Molly, and his son, Rocco. He also enjoys mountain biking, running, and volunteering as a volunteer fire fighter.
