Jack Cafferty

Interpretive Center Director

Jack

Jack Cafferty was born and raised in Idaho, where he has spent a great deal of time enjoying the outdoors since his early childhood. Upon receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the College of Idaho in 1998, his first position with The Peregrine Fund was working as a field assistant in Greenland. Jack returned to The Peregrine Fund in early 2001 working on fundraising, public relations, and publications as our Program Executive. In late 2003, Jack took over the direction of the Education Program and the Velma Morrison Interpretive Center. He still plays an active role in local fundraising efforts and coordinates The Peregrine Fund’s outreach efforts in the Treasure Valley. He is an active member of the Boise Metro Rotary Club, avid fly fisherman, and enjoys hunting with his English pointers and Tennessee Walking Horses.
