Falcons take to the skies for outdoor flight demonstrations in October at World Center for Birds of Prey

BOISE, Idaho – Live falcons will demonstrate their remarkable flying skills outdoors in October at The Peregrine Fund's World Center for Birds of Prey.

Experts will use traditional falconry techniques to present the flight demonstrations at 1:30 p.m. (weather permitting), Friday through Sunday starting Oct. 8. The dates are: October 8-10, October 15-17, October 22-24, and October 29-31.

Visitors also can tour the Velma Morrison Interpretive Center, with interactive activities and bird displays, and the Archives of Falconry, featuring an authentic Middle Eastern hunting tent, art, sculpture and artifacts.

Hours: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Admission: $7 adults, $6 seniors, $5 youths ages 4-16, free to members. (Admission includes interpretive center, Archives of Falconry and flight demonstration.)
